“Nda-Kongni” means house of love. We promote the preservation of our cultural identity, and Cultural awareness/sensitivity as a means to build community and foster community engagement. Community engagement facilitates integration, enhances responsible citizenship, and improves public health and public safety.
Nda-Kongni aims to be a formidable support system and provide a robust cultural network for members and beneficiaries to facilitate integration and find meaning in the larger American society.

The Organization is established within the meaning of IRS Publication 557 Section 501(c)(3) Organization of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Membership to Nda-kongni BCA MN is open to all sons and daughters of Bali Nyonga and their family and all other natural Persons who share the mission and vision of the organization. Membership shall be granted without discrimination based on race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, political view etc. Members shall register by paying a registration fee of $50 per year (Aug to July). The activities of the group shall be defined in its article of incorporation. Members shall have the opportunity to benefit from/or participate in the activities of the group.
Traditional dancing entertainment, African Cuisine, Research support, Visit/companionship, education/resourcefulness, feeding the homeless, welcoming newly arrived immigrants, orientation services to new immigrant arrivals, coordination of community education/resources (health, safety ,marriage, school admission, job search, etc)

Share your time, skills, and heart with our House of Love. Volunteers mentor youth, support language & culture classes, and help families feel at home in Minnesota—building belonging, safety, and opportunity. Training provided and schedules are flexible.
